The FPT office in Detroit will help FPT to accelerate the growth in the UK market  and seek opportunities to cooperate with the "giants" of the automotive industry.

Over the weekend, FPT's 6th office in the US was opened in Detroit, the largest city of Michigan. This office will provide FPT with the opportunity to approach and seek potential cooperation with the "giants" of the industry at the heart of the American automotive industry. Detroit is not only the capital of the automotive industry, but also the third largest auto market.

Mr. Dang Tran Phuong, Director of FPT America, said: “We hope Detroit will really help FPT Software to become VI (Vertical Industry) when all automotive intelligence is gathered here. Currently, FPT America has its first customers in Detroit. In the nearest future, we need to focus on ensuring the quality of the existing personnel and projects, and quickly spread FPT's presence to other companies in Detroit, especially to a large number of Japanese companies here.”

In 2018, FPT marked its important milestone of 10 years of presence in the country. This also includes the first M&A deal in Vietnam's IT field in the US market that let FPT to acquire 90% of the shares of the leading US technology consulting company Intellinet.
This deal was made to help FPT elevate its technological position in order to become a better partner in digital transformation projects, and to provide its improved and more comprehensive technology services, from strategic consulting, design to deployment and security maintenance, to add more value to its customers.

With 200 employees working directly in 6 offices in the major US states, FPT provides its services to around 200 customers in this market, operating in the fields of aerospace, healthcare, banking & finance, telecommunications and automotive.
